Chef Sean Correll

Chef Sean brings over 25 years of restaurant, executive, and personal chef experience to the local community and beyond. His passion for quality, taste, innovation, and attention to detail shows in everything he creates.

 

Born in New York and raised in New Hampshire, Chef Sean owned and operated a locally renowned brick-oven pizzeria, Bella Rose, in North Hampton for nearly a decade. They specialized in bringing pizzeria's to another level, from homemade breads, dressings, pastas and sauces, to custom catering in a variety of styles. Chef Sean has worked and apprenticed under several highly skilled chefs in eastern New Hampshire, southern Maine and northeastern Massachusetts. He spent time in Italy studying the history and traditions behind their food. While his restaurant profession was extremely rewarding, he found himself on a much more inspiring path and made the decision to start Thyme to Rise to bring a more personal experience to food.

 

Chef Sean cooks from the heart with passion for simple, hearty food just like his grandmother taught him. He is deeply devoted to comforting food made from high-quality ingredients, as well as innovative recipes developed with today's needs and trends in mind. He supports local farmers and growers whenever possible, ensuring all the meals that he prepares feature the best and freshest products available.

After spending a year in Italy absorbing the culture, and learning the traditions and values that make Italian food so rich in history, Chef Sean's approach to food has become a more meaningful experience.
